Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results

Preliminary Test

Lowest test temperature = 355.7 °C at 964 hPa

Test Series 1

Lowest test temperature = 309 °C at 959 - 962 hPa

Test Series 2

Lowest test temperature = 307 °C at 961 hPa

Test Series 3

Lowest test temperature = 307 °C at 964 hPa

Summary

Auto-ignition temperature = 302 °C

Remarks

According to DIN EN 14522 the lowest value of all test series (307 °C) was reduced by the deviation value based on the precision of the method (rel. 1.5% = 4.6 °C). The resulting value was rounded to the next integral number (302 °C).

Conclusions:
An auto-ignition temperature of 302 °C at approx. 960 hPa was determined in a reliable study conducted according to an appropriate test protocol. It was not compliant with GLP.
