Additional information

The influence of the test item on the growth of Scenedesmus subspicatus was investigated in a 96 hours toxicity test according to DIN 38412 and OECD Guideline No. 201. The test organismus, Scenedesmus subspicatus was cultivated for several generations in nutrient solution in the presence of different concentrations of the test substance. The chronic effect concentration of the test substance on algae was determined by measuring the turbidity of the algal suspensions after 96 hours. The following effect concentrations was determined:

EC10 = 380 mg/L
EC 50 >1000 mg/L
EC100 >1000 mg/L
