Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on the nominal concentrations the LC50 (96h) is >5000 <10000 mg/L. The NOEC (96h) is 100 mg/L.
Based on the analytically determined concentrations the LC50 (96h) is >5000 <10000 mg/L. The NOEC (96h) is 103 mg/L.

Additional information

The acute toxic effect of the test item to Zebra fish (Brachydanio rerio) over a 96 hour static exposure was assessed according to OECD guideline 203 and EU Method C.1. Zebra fish were exposed over a 96 hour period to the concentrations 50, 100, 5000 and 10000 mg/L and a control. Additionally the results were calculated also related to the analytically determined values. Based on the nominal concentrations the LC50 (96 h) is > 5000 < 10000 mg/L. Mortality (1/10) occurred from the concentration 5000 mg/L upward. Another substance-related effect was the symptom apathy. The NOEC (96 h) based on nominal concentrations is 100 mg/L. Based on the analytically determined concentrations the LC50 (96 h) is > 5000 < 10000 mg/L and the NOEC (96 h) is 103 mg/L.
