Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No risk for the soil compartment is assumed. A confirmatory earthworm reproduction test is proposed.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Since the physico-chemical data indicate that the substance is not adsorptive or bioaccumulative (log Kow = -1.42) and the substance is not directly applied to soil, a significant distribution into the soil compartment and a significant exposure of terrestrial organisms is not expected.

As no effects were seen in tests with aquatic species, the EPM can not be used to derive a screening exposure assesment for the terrestrial compartment and a long-term soil toxicity test (OECD 222, Earthworm Reproduction test) is therefore proposed.
