Description of key information

This substance is consist of 64.3% 3 -vinyltoluene and 35.7% 4-vinyltoluene. The acute fish toxicity LC50 predicted by T.E.S.T. 96 hour fathead minnow LC50 of for 3 -vinyltoluene is 8.14mg/L, and 7.97mg/L for 4-vinyltoluene. Both the value fall within the range of 1 -10mg/L, and both all them higher than the ErC50 of algae (which is the most sensitive aquatic species for this substance) . As the content of the 3-vinyltoluene is more than 50%, so the LC50 for acute fish toxicity endpoint is 8.14mg/L.
