Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Boiling Point (triacetoxyethylsilane): 220°C (QSAR)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
220 °C

Additional information

A predicted boiling point value of 220°C was determined for the substance using a validated estimation method. The result is considered reliable and selected as key study. An extrapolated boiling point of ca. 210°C was determined for the substance, however, the reliability is unassignable because the boiling point was determined at a lower pressure and as such the uncertainty associated with the result is unknown. In other secondary sources to which reliability could not be assigned, boiling point of 201°C, 220°C , 227°C and ca. 110°C (at lower pressure: 13 hPa) were reported for the substance. The supporting studies are in good agreement with the key study.
