The difference between all vessels (I, II, and III) was not greater than 15%. The test temperatures were 20ºC ±0.25ºC.

The results showed no tendency of increasing values.

The test temperatures were Min. : 19.77 ºC Max: 19.97ºC.

The final result was calculated from the last two samples (48h and 72h).

Mean water solubility (n=2): 3062.1 mg/L

Coefficient of variation (n=2): 0.9%

Water solubility: 3.062 ±0.027 g/L.

Conclusions:
The solubility of the test item in water was 3.062 ±0.027 g/L at the temperature of 20±0.25ºC. The pH values were 5.57 -5.58.
Executive summary:

The solubility of the test item in water was determined using the flask method according to OECD Guideline 105 and EU Method A.6. A preliminary experiment was performed to determine the required amount of the test sample. About 2 g of the test item was weighed into each of three glass vessels fitted with glass stoppers and 250 mL of deionised water. The closed vessels were shaken at about 30ºC. In the stabilized samples, the zinc content was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (previously validated under GLP conditions). The solubility of the test item in water is 3.062±0.027 g/L at the temperature of 20±0.25ºC. The pH values were 5.57 -5.58.
