First-aid measures

Necessary first-aid measures by relevant routes of exposure;
If inhaled-
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
If symptoms continue, call a doctor/physician.
If on skin-
Remove immediately contaminated clothing and shoes.
Rinse with plenty of water and soap.
If symptoms continue, call a doctor/physician.
If in eyes-
Immediately rinse cautiously with water for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If symptoms continue, call a doctor/physician.
If swallowed -
Do not induce vomiting.
Rinse mouth. Immediately get medical advice/attention. If unconscious, do not give anything by mouth.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable (and unsuitable) extinguishing media; Suitable extinguishing media:
Use water mist, dry chemical powder, fire foam or carbon dioxide.

Unsuitable extinguishing media-
Applying direct water may be dangerous because fire may expand to surroundings.

Specific hazards arising from the chemical;
In case of fire, toxic decomposition products (other such carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide) may be generated.

Special protective equipment and precautions for fire-fighters;
Cut off any ignition sources and extinguish with an appropriate agent.
Cool the surrounding tank and the buildings with direct water jet to avoid risk of fire spreading. Take action from windward.
Keep out except responsible personnel.
Move container to a safe area if it can be done without risk.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment, and emergency procedures;
Keep out except responsible personnel (e.g. stretch a rope) from the spilled area. Evacuate people from the spilled area and announce the danger of fire and explosion.
Wear suitable protective equipment
Avoid release into the environment because product may cause local effects.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up;
Sweep up scattered materials or vacuum them using a vacuum cleaner so as not to cause dust then collect them into an empty container.
Do not eat or drink near handling and storage locations.
Eliminate all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks or flames in immediate area). Prevent to flowing into drains, sewers, basements or closed areas.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling Protective measures:
Install appropriate equipment and wear suitable protective apparatus.
Obtain special instructions before use.
Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/ vapors/spray.
Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Avoid the generation of dust.

Advice on general occupational hygiene:
Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities Technical measures:
In the storage area, install adequate light and ventilation systems to handle hazardous materials. Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Incompatible materials:
Acid anhydrides, strong bases, oxidizing agents, etc.

Conditions for safe storage:
Avoid sunlight.
Storage in a cool and well ventilated place.
Eliminate all ignition sources (no smoking, flares, sparks or flames in immediate area). Store locked up.

Packing material:
Sealed container without damage or leakage (metal, resin or glass, etc.)

Exposure controls / personal protection

Occupational Exposure Limits;
OSHA PEL: Not applicable
ACGIH TLV-TWA (2016): No information

Appropriate engineering controls;
Install entire ventilation systems in a handling place.
In a work place where dusts generate, ensure to use sealed instrument or local ventilation. Shower and eye washer should be available in the work area.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment;
Respiratory protection-
Wear dust mask or air aspirator for organic gases.
Hand protection-
Wear protective gloves.
Eye protection-
Wear safety glasses, goggles or face protection.
Skin and body protection-
Wear safety helmet, protective clothing and safety boots.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity
Stable under normal handling condition.
Chemical stability
Amino groups are oxidized by the oxidizing agent.
This product is a weakly basic, reacts aluminium, magnesium, and potassium.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
React with mineral acids and produce salts.
Conditions to avoid
No information
Incompatible materials
Reactive metals such as aluminium or magnesium.
Hazardous decomposition products
Decompose by heating or burning produces toxic and corrosive fumes (nitrogen oxides, etc.)

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods
Dispose of waste in accordance with applicable local, regional and international regulations and
standards.
When disposing, consult to a certificated waste trader or local offices if they deal with the waste. Used container should be recycled after cleaning or dispose of in compliance with related laws and local regulations.
Contents should be removed completely when dispose of empty containers.
