Results and discussion

Preliminary study:
At pH 4 < 10% of the test item has been hydrolysed after 5 days at 50°C. At pH 7 and 9 more than 50 % of the test item had been hydrolysed within 2.4 h at 50°C. Thus additional testing at pH 4, 7 and 9 is not required.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
At pH 4 < 10% of the test item was hydrolysed after 5 days at 50°C. At pH 7 and 9 more than 50 % of the test item had been hydrolysed within 2.4 h at 50°C. Thus additional testing at pH 4, 7 and 9 was not required.
Executive summary:

This is a GLP compliant, guideline study and is considered suitable for assessment. At pH 4 < 10% of the test item has been hydrolysed after 5 days at 50°C. At pH 7 and 9 more than 50 % of the test item had been hydrolysed within 2.4 h at 50°C. Thus additional testing at pH 4, 7 and 9 is not required.
