Administrative data

Endpoint:
explosive properties of explosives
Data waiving:
study scientifically not necessary / other information available
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties
Justification for type of information:
Sulphuryl dichloride contains no functional groups which are associated with explosive properties (see European CLP Directive, EC No. 1272/2008 and UN Manual of Tests and Criteria2, appendix 6, section 3). The DTA thermogram (see record 4.19, rel 1, A. Klein (Currenta), 2010) proves that this compound has no energy for an exothermic decomposition. Sulphuryl dichloride has no explosive properties.
