Description of key information
In accordance with Annex VIII, column 2 a study does not need to be conducted if the substance is not readily biodegradable or if it is highly insoluble in water. Although potassium hydrogen difluoride cannot be waived on this basis, the substance fully dissociates into its constituent ions in aqueous environments (K+, H+ and F- ions will be formed in aqueous environments) and therefore further data is not required.
