The substance is a gas, it is highly unlikely to partition into water and as it is insoluble in water the resulting exposure to fish will be very unlikely. Furthermore, the substance is inorganic and thus is unlikely to cross biological membranes. Consequently, the chemical safety assessment does not indicate the need to further investigate the effects on aquatic organism and long-term toxicity testing is thus not proposed by the registrant.
No further testing for long-term toxicity is considered scientifically necessary.
