Additional information

One toxicity to terrestrial arthropods study was examined for this endpoint. This study was rated as a Klimish score of 2, since it was not a GLP, guideline study, but appeared to follow good scientific practices. In this study 5th instar silkworm larvae (Bombyx mori) were exposed to various concentrations of sodium chloride via injection into the hemolymph. Following 24 hours, the LD50 was determined to be 8900 ppm NaCl for silkworm larvae.
