A biodegradation of 85% was reached within a time period of 28 days. No 10-day window is required for this test. Hence, the substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
Results with reference substance:
The oxygen consumption for aniline in the above used test system reached 57% and more than 60% degradation after 7 days and 14 days, respectively.

Additional information

One study investigating the ready biodegradability of Propane-1,2,3-triyl 2-ethylhexanoate (CAS No. 7360-38-5) is available. The study was conducted by a Japanese authority according to the Japanese guideline “Circular on Test Methods of New Chemical Substances, ready biodegradability test” under aerobic conditions (METI, 2002). The inoculum was not specified. Based on O2 consumption a mean degradation of 85% was observed after 28 days. No 10-day window is required. Hence, the test substance is determined to be readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
