Additional information

Due to its high solubility in water and low adsorption potential, the environmental target compartment of 2 -(dimethylamino)-2 -methylpropan-1 -ol (DMAMP) is expected to be water. In water, DMAMP is not expected hydrolyze since it does not contain functional groups susceptible to hydrolysis. Slow biodegradation in the environmentl is expected. If present in the atmosphere, DMAMP is expected to be rapidly degraded by indirect photolysis.
