Version / remarks:
30 May 2008
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 102 (Melting point / Melting Range)
Version / remarks:
adopted 27th July 1995
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
thermal analysis
Remarks:
differential scanning calorimetry
Melting / freezing pt.:
< -100 °C
Atm. press.:
1 013 hPa
Remarks on result:
other: No melting/freezing point could be determined for the test item down to a temperature of -100 °C.

The test item was cooled down from 25°C to -100°C with a cooling rate of 10 K/min. After 10 min the test item was heated from -100°C to 25°C with a heating rate of 10 K/min. Neither during cooling nor heating any thermal effects were observed.

The test item MTMA has no melting/freezing point at atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa) down to a temperature of -100°C.

Conclusions:
MTMA has no melting/freezing point at atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa) down to a temperature of -100°C.
Executive summary:

The melting point of MTMA was determined according to OECD Guideline 102, adopted 27th July 1995, and EU Method A.1, May 2008 by differential scanning calorimetry. MTMA has no melting/freezing point at atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa) down to a temperature of -100°C.

Description of key information

MTMA has no melting/freezing point at atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa) down to a temperature of -100°C (OECD Guideline 102/EU Method A.1).
