Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING
The substance is not supposed to be directly applied to soil and an indirect exposure to soil via sewage sludge transfer is unlikely since the substance is readily biodegradable. For a substance beingconsidered as "readily biodegradable“, it can be assumed that it will be biodegraded within the STP process and as a consequence a transfer to the soil compartment is not expected. Therefore, exposition of birds to the substance through secondary poisonning is not expected. Moreover the risk through secondary poisonnning of birds and mammals is assessed in using the large toxicity data set available on mammals. Therefore, no tests on birds are provided.
