Description of key information

Using the pycnometer method, the density of neodymium carbonate was determined to be 1.6282 ± 0.0003 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, which is the mean of two independent determinations (standard deviation = 0.0008 g/cm3).

Additional information

The density of Neodymium carbonate was determined to be 1.6282 ± 0.0003 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C, which is the mean of two values. Precision of the value given as maximal error of (single) determination.

The standard deviation of the two values is only slightly higher than the maximal error of the single determination; correspondence of the values is very good. Therefore, the study is considered valid.
