Description of key information

The substance is not readily biodegradable, but poorly biodegradable.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The key study was performed according to OECD 301 C (MITI-I) with a mixed inoculum by MITI Japan (J-CHECK, 2018). There is no information about GLP-compliance or validity criteria. The test material concentration was 100 mg/L, the inoculum concentration 30 mg/L. The biodegradation rate was determined to be 4% BOD after a period of 28 days. TOC and test material analysis indicate a degradation of 7% and 0%, respectively. Hence, the test substance is not readily biodegradable, but poorly biodegradable.
