Administrative data
First-aid measures
- General advice:
In case of doubt or if you feel unwell, call a Poison Centre or a doctor. If possible show the label of the Safety Data Sheet.
- Following inhalation:
Remove the affected person from the danger zone immediately.
Keep warm and at rest.
Provide oxygen if necessary.
Seek medical advice if symptoms appear.
- Following skin contact:
Remove immediately contaminated clothing and shoes.
Wash immediately the affected parts with water and soap for at least 15 minutes.
Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Following eye contact:
Rinse immediately and thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes, including under the eyelids. Do not allow water to flow into the uncontaminated eye.
Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Following ingestion:
Rinse mouth with water and spit out. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice, and do not give anything to drink or eat.
- Most important symptoms and effects:
No specific effect, immediate or delayed, is anticipated. The product should not cause more than a transient discomfort (minor redness, swelling, tearing).
- Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:
Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
- Extinguishing media:
Water.
DO NOT fight fire when fire reaches explosives.

Wear suitable protective clothing: garment for protection from heat radiation, safety shoes with no metal part in contact with the soil, gloves. Goggles and P3-type mask in case of dust.

Avoid contamination of soil, surface waters and ground waters. Prevent entry into drains.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
In case of dispersion, proceed for cleaning as follows:
- Moisten the product.
- Collect. Avoid the use of devices which can produce sparks or heat.
- Wear suitable protective clothing.
- Recover in a suitable, closed and labelled packaging, specifying identification and hazards of the product.
- Treat as waste in a specialised treatment plant.
Handling and storage

Ground and bond container and receiving equipment.
Keep away from heat, open flames and sparks.
Do not subject to shock, friction, static discharges and dust formation.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Stability and reactivity
1. Reactivity
EXPLOSIVE. Heat, shock or friction can initiate the reaction, but with a relatively high threshold.
2. Chemical stability
Chemically stable in normal conditions of storage.
Thermally stable up to more than 300°C.
The colour can turn form yellow to green or brown upon light or heat.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions
Mass explosion hazard.
4. Conditions to avoid
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking.
Do not subject to grinding, shock, friction, static electricity, dust formation.
5. Incompatible materials
Explosives shall NOT be stored with oxidising, flammable products, or other products dangerous for human health.
6. Hazardous decomposition products
- Carbon mono and dioxide (CO, CO2);
- Traces of nitrogen oxides (NOx).
Disposal considerations
Unusable products, out of date, residues and contaminated packaging are considered as hazardous waste according to Directive 2008/98/EC (as modified by Regulation (EU) No 1357/2014).
Do not pour into drains or in the environment. Do not re-use empty containers.
Open burning is suitable. Waste and contaminated packaging will be destroyed by remote incineration, by a qualified department.
