Buffers:
Buffer solution were sterilized through the 0.2 μm cellulose acetate filter. The composition of buffer solutions was as follows:- pH 4.0 : 0.1 N NaOH 0.4 mL + 0.1 M Potassium biphthalate 50 mL Dissolved in deionized water and made up to 100 mL- pH 7.0 : 0.1 N NaOH 29.63ml + 0.1 M Monopotassium 50 mL Dissolved in deionized water and made up to 100 mL- pH 9.0 : 0.1 N NaOH 21.3ml + 0.1 Boric acid in 0.1 M KCl 50 mL Dissolved in deionized water and made up to 100 mL
Details on test conditions:
All glassware used in the hydrosis test were sterilized and buffer solutions were taken to avoid oxygen and all of the Hydrosis test was carried out under dark condition.
Preliminary study:
Triplicate sterile aqueous buffer solutions (250 mL) of different pH values of 4.0, 7.0 and 9.0 were treatedwith test substance to make 50 ppm.The test was performed at 50 +/- 5 deg C for 5 days. Individual replicate samples were sampled at application (0 day) and 5 days.And samples were quantified by HPLC.

The preliminary test results showed that the percent hydrolysis at pH 4.0, 7.0 and 9.0 were negative values after 5 days respectively. These results were less than 10% of hydrolysis and then test substance was considered hydrolytically stable and no additional testing was requiredby the OECD Guidelines.
