In accordance with Section 1 of Annex XI, the toxicity to soil macroorganisms study (as required in Section 9.4) does not appear scientifically necessary. The data are not required as the risk assessment performed concludes that the substance is of no immediate concern to the environment. The substance is readily biodegradable and hence will not persist in the environment.
