Additional information

Stability

Hydrolysis is expected to be an important fate path in an acidic environment.

After evaporation or exposure to the atmosphere, the substance is expected to be degraded rapidly by reaction with OH-radical with a half-life of 8.4 hours.

Biodegradation

The substance is not ready biodegradable. Regarding the result of the supporting study on inherent biodegradability, the substance is easily eliminated from water predominatly by biodegradation.

Bioaccumulation

Significant accumulation in organisms is not to be expected.

Transport and distribution

The estimated log Koc indicates that adsorption to the solid soil phase (e.g. clay) is not expected.

The substance will not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface.

Due to the results of the Mackay LEVEL I calculation, over time, the substance will preferentially distribute into the compartment water (99 %).
