24% of the samples tested have strong cytotoxic effect, 16% are mildly cytotoxic and 60% are non-cytotoxic

The cytotoxicity observed might be due to the materials added during the preparation of Al-Kohl. These materials are widely different in their nature and are used in different quantities. This may explain why some samples are cytotoxic while others samples are not.
