First-aid measures

Avoid chance of exposure by any feasible way. After inhalation: Move the affected person to fresh air.If breathing becomes irregular or ceases, apply mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or artifical respiration immediately. Get medical attention. After skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, wash off the skin with plenty of water. After eye contact: Rinse the eyes with water for several minutes with eyelids open wide. Having rinsed the eyes, obtain ophthalmologic attention as soon as possible. After swallowing: Wash out the mouth with plenty of water, give plenty of water to drink, then obtain medical attenton immediately. Information for doctor The physician must be informed on the time, type and extent of exposure. If needed, show the safety data sheet to the physician.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Available extinguishing media: water spray, extinguishing powder, carbon dioxid, foam. Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full waterjet are not suitable for extinguishing. Substance is combustible. Combustion products: carbonmonoxide/dioxide. Outdoors stay on the weatherside and extinguish from there. In closed places, and in case of wreck, wear fireproof working clothes and use selfcontained breathing apparatus. Class of flammability hazard (according to Hungarian decree): B (flammable and explosive). It is dangerously susceptible to electrostatic charging. Substance has a high spark sensitivity. Dust of substance can/could be exploded by a spark energy of 10 J. insulating substance.

Accidental release measures

Only the trained personnel in charge of release is allowed to be present at the site of spilling, wearing the prescribed protective equipments. Hinder the spilled substance from entering the soil, sewers or living water. Collect spilt substance aspiring to the lowest possible dustlevel. Put the collected substance into adequately labelled empties and transport them to the site of disposal, then wash the contaminated area with plenty of water.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Avoid any possibility of direct contact with substance while manipulating. Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Take off contaminated clothing avoiding contamination of skin. Store it in a cool, dry, wellventilated, free from direct sunlight place. Specific end use(s): Intermediate (phase product of active pharmaceutical ingredient).

Additional information
Special provisions / remarks / other:
Transportation of substance does not represent any special danger under normal circumstances. Since the toxicological data needed for classification are unknown, product is classified as dangerous commodity.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls: A user must provide conditions, which exclude the possibility of exposure. Working with the material should be preferably in a closed system under strictly controlled conditions. Individual protection measures / personal protective equipment: The personal protective equipment for the working process are determined by internal standards. Eye/face protection: Wear closed protection glasses, or the respirator mask. Skin protection: Closed protective clothing against particulate matter. Hand protection: Protective gloves made of nitrile and butyl and neopren. Respiratory protection: Dust mask or gas mask with white, P3 filter cartidge. 8.2.3. Environmental exposure controls In case of proper handling and using no environmental damage may be expected.

Stability and reactivity

Stable under normal circumstances. Danger of elektrostatic charge. Danger of dust explosion. May react with substance in strong mineral acids, strong basics, strong oxidisers.

Disposal considerations

Suggestions for disposal procedures of the substance/product: Incineration in a special waste incineration plant. Suggestions for disposal procedures of contaminated packaging (vessels): Flammable empties must be incinerated in waste increation plant, in compliance with local regulations.
