Temperature data

The temperatures which were measured in the experiment are presented in the following table. Many values were recorded, here only the values at every 60 minutes (until the oven had reached the chosen temperature) are presented.

Executive summary:

A study was performed according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, Method A.16 in order to determine the relative self-ignition temperature of the test product with the help of an ZPA-3 oven. The test item was placed into a stainless steel cube and should be heated from room temperature to an oven temperature of 400 °C (heating rate 0.57 K/min). No increase in the temperature of the sample in comparison to that of the oven could be detected. After the end of the test, the test item was completely black and carbonized.
