First-aid measures
GENERAL
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure.
INHALATION
Keep the affected person warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention. If breathing stops, provide artificial respiration. When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering 100 % oxygen.
SKIN CONTACT
Remove victim immediately from source of exposure. Promptly flush contaminated skin with water. Promptly remove clothing if soaked through and flush the skin with water. Immediately consult a doctor.
EYE CONTACT
Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention immediately. Continue to rinse.
INGESTION
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Drink plenty of water. Immediately consult a doctor.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Can be extinguished with water, powder, foam, sand or carbon dioxide.
IMPROPER EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Do not use a direct water jet that could spread the fire.
FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS
The product is combustible. May develop highly toxic or corrosive fumes if heated.
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIRE FIGHTERS
General: Evacuate all personnel, use protective equipment for fire fighting. Use a portable breathing apparatus when the product is involved in a fire.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Wear necessary protective equipment. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard area and deny entry.
Unauthorized persons should be evacuated. Avoid contact with skin or inhalation of spillage, dust or vapour.
SAFETY ACTIONS TO PROTECT EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT
Prevent discharges into the sewage system, watercourses or ground.
METHODS FOR CLEANING UP
Absorb in inert material (vermiculite, dry sand or earth) for incineration. Collect the spillage into suitable containers for incineration. Flush area with plenty of water.
Handling and storage
HANDLING ADVICE
Avoid heat, sparks and open flame. Protect against moisture. Avoid contact with strong acids. Keep away from combustible material. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Ensure that air circulation is good in store and workplace. Use suitable protective gloves, protective goggles and protective clothes if there is risk of direct contact or splashing.
Provide good ventilation.
STORAGE
Keep in cool, dry, ventilated storage and closed containers. Protect from direct sunlight.

Exposure controls / personal protection
EXPOSURE CONTROL
Contaminated clothing to be placed in closed container until disposal or decontamination. Warn cleaning personnel of chemical´´s hazardous properties. Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking and using the toilet.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
At work in confined or poorly ventilated spaces, respiratory protection with air supply must be used. If ventilation is insufficient, suitable respiratory protection must be applied. If ventilation is insufficient, use a respirator with A filter.
EYE PROTECTION
Use approved safety goggles or face shield. Wear approved, tight fitting safety glasses where splashing is probable.
HAND PROTECTION
Chemical resistant gloves required for prolonged or repeated contact.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING
Use suitable protective clothing as protection against splashing and contamination.
Stability and reactivity
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS
Incomplete combustion/thermal decomposition will generate smoke, carbon dioxide and hazardous gases, which will include carbon monoxide. Nitrous gases (toxic if inhaled) may be formed on heating or in a fire.
Disposal considerations
GENERAL REGULATIONS
This material and its container must be disposed of as hazardous waste. Dump or destroy in accordance with official recommendations and applicable legislation. Collect and reclaim or dispose in sealed containers in licensed waste.
