Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

149 °C, 1.9kPa, Anselmino, 1903

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
262 °C

Additional information

Boiling under reduced pressure was reported in the literature. A recent guideline study is available which reported onset of decomposition followed by boiling at 262°C at ca. 99kPa, based on visual observation of a capillary melting-point tube. The same study also reported preliminary DSC data with onset of decomposition, and boiling at 266.8°C. The value of 262°C is selected to be carried forward for risk assessment, classification and labeling.
