Henry´s Law Constant: 8.33 E-7 atm m3/mol (= 8.65 E-2 Pa m3/mol): This value indicates that isovaleric acid will volatilise slowly from water surfaces, but in addition, the pKa value indicates that the acid will exist predominantly in its ionic form and, therefore, not be able to volatilize (Lyman et al., 1990).
