Description of key information

This substance is void of any chemical structures commonly associated with explosive properties, such as metal peroxides, peroxo-acid-anions, azides, and halogen-oxides. Lead dichloride is an inorganic salt containing only Pb[2+] and Cl[-] ions and is not combustible. Further, it is noted that despite long-term industrial use of the substance, it is not classified for explosive properties according to UN transport regulations. Therefore, the testing for explosivity is waived in accordance with REACH Annex VII, Section 7.11, Column 2.
