First-aid measures

- General information

Instantly remove any clothing soiled by the product.

Remove breathing apparatus only after soiled clothing has been completely removed.

In case of irregular breathing or respiratory arrest provide artificial respiration.

- After inhalation

Supply fresh air or oxygen; call for doctor.

In case of unconsciousness bring patient into stable side position fhr transport.

- After skin contact

Instantly rinse with water.

Seek imnmnediate mnedical advice.

- After eye contact

Rinse opened eye/hr several mninutes under running water. Then consult doctor.

- After swallowing

Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water.

Do not induce vomiting; instantly call for medical help.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing agents

CO2, sand, extinguishing powder. Do not use water.

Use/ire/fighting measures that suit the environmnent.

Formnation of poisonous gases during heating or in fires.

Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

Use breathing protection against the effcts of fumes/dust/aerosol.

Do not allow to enter drainage system, surface or ground water.

Inform respective authorities in case product reaches water or sewage system.

- Measures for cleaning/collecting:

Ensure adequate ventilation.

Send for recovery or disposal in suitable containers.

Absorb with liquid-binding material (‘sand, diatomite, acid binders, universal binders, sawdust.

Use neutralizing agent.

Dispose of contamninated material as waste according to item n.13.

Exposure controls / personal protection

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 17(3) for on-site isolated intermediates and, in case the substance is transported to other sites for further processing, the substance should be handled at these sites under the Strictly Controlled Conditions as specified in REACH regulation Article 18(4). Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management systems is available at each Manufacturing site.

Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every affected Distributor and Downstream Manufacturer/User of the Registrant’s intermediate.

- Personal protective equipment

- General protective and hygienic measures

Do not inhale gases /fumes aerosols.

Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.

Take off immnediately all contamninated clothing

Wash hands during breaks and at the end of the work.

Store protective clothing separately.

In case of brief exposure or low  pollution use breathing filter apparatus. In case of intensive or longer exposure use breathing apparatus that is independent of circulating air.
