Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. The CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics 88th Edition reports the boiling point to be at 81 °C at 1013.25 hPa. The REAXYS database reports the boiling point of the test item to be at 80 °C (Zhuravleva, I. Z.,2000) and at 79.15 °C (Milazzo, Rend, 1959). All literature values are in the same range. According to the ECAH guidance IR/CSA 7a dated Nov 2014 the CRC Handbook was regarded as most reliable literature source. Thus, the boiling point of 81 °C was chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment.
