Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:

No studies according to current guidelines are available. However, since the test substance has a pH value of 11.5 and was found to be corrosive on skin and eyes, no testing on skin sensitization is required. Additionally, structurally related substance 2-(2-Aminoethoxy)ethanol (CAS 929-06-6) was tested for its sensitizing properties in a Buehler Test and was found not to be sensitizing.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
skin: not sensitizing; Due to corrosivity no test has to be conducted. No sensitizing effects were found with an structural analogue (CAS 929-06-6).

Justification for classification or non-classification

DSD and CLP classification are not warranted for 3-Aminopropoxy-2-ethoxy ethanol.
