According to the bond estimation method of the HENRYWIN Program (v3.20) of EPI Suite v4.10, the HLC was 1.19E-08 Pa*m³/mol (BASF SE, 2013). The HLC as a function of vapor pressure (0.000338 mm Hg) and water solubility (1.0E+06 mg/L) has a value of 7.355E-06 Pa*m³/mol (BASF SE, 2013). These values are representative for the uncharged molecule. At environmental conditions the molecule is expected to be ionised, therefore a pH-corrected Koc was calculated according to the REACH Guidance document (2008). The resulting Henry's Law constant was 7.50E-12 Pa *m³/mol at pH 7 (range pH 4 to 9: 7.51E-15 to 7.06E-10 Pa*m³/mol; BASF SE, 2013).

Based on the HLC for the charged molecule, 2 -[2 -(3 -aminopropoxy)ethoxy]ethanol will not evaporate from the water surface into the atmosphere.
