RESULTS/CONCLUSION

The surface tension of MIAK was determined to be 25.5 +/- 1 mN/m at 22 °C.

The raw surface tension data are reported in Table VIII-1.

Executive summary:

The surface tension of MIAK was determined to be 25.5 +/- 1 mN/m at 22 °C.

Description of key information

The surface tension of 5 -methylhexan-2 -one was determined to be 25.5 +/- 1 mN/m at 22 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
25.5

Additional information

The key value given above has not been determined at 20 °C but at 22 °C. However, this subtle distinction is not expected to have a significant impact and the value was therefore inserted above.
