Additional information

In the key study daphnia were exposed to concentrations ranging from 1,412 to 50,000 mg/l. Based on these nominal concentrations, the 48-hour EC50 was determined to be 23,300 mg/l.

In the two supporting studies, daphnia were exposed to concentrations ranging from 62.5 to 500 mg/l and to 1,000 mg/l. Based on these nominal concentrations, the 48-hour EC50 were determined to be superior to 500 mg/l and superior to 1,000 mg/l, respectively, since no immobility was found during the test.

The 48-hour EC50 of 23,300 mg/l will be taken into account for the risk assessment.
