The substance is to be considered as readily biodegradable because the biodegradation reached 75% within 28 days, and the 14 -day window was met.

One study is available assessing the biodegradation of the test item in water. The study was performed according to 92/69/EEC method C.4-E and GLP. Even though there is limited information available on the study description, the results can be used for this endpoint in a conclusive manner.
As indicated in the OECD guideline 301 the value obtained in a 14-d window is accepted in the Closed Bottle method if it is considered that the number of bottles necessary to evaluate the 10-d window causes the test to become too unwieldy. Therefore, the substance is to be considered as readily biodegradable because the 14-day window was reached. The biodegradation was 75% in 28 days.
