Additional information

The substance was found to be readily biodegradable in an OECD 301F manometric respirometry test and a Closed Bottle Test according to EU Method C.4-E and GLP. Therefore, the degradation via abiotic hydrolysis is not considered to be a relevant degradation pathway in the environment.

Furthermore the substance is characterized by moderate solubility in water (171 mg/L, 20 °C), a low vapour pressure (6 Pa, 20 °C) which leads to a Henry’s Law constant of 6.18 Pa m³/mol and a log Kow of 3.01 at 23.6 °C, suggesting that water will be the main compartment for environmental distribution.
