Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Adsorption of 2-EHA to solid soil phase is expected be low.
log Koc = 2.56

log Koc = 3.12

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
360

Additional information

Based on an estimated log Koc of 2.56 calculated by SRC PCKOCWIN v2.00, adsorption to solid soil phase is expected to be low.

Therefore, the potential for adsorption to soil, sediment, and suspended solids is expected to be low.

The MCI method was considered to be the most relevant as it was used in Appendix A of the EU RAR (2005) for exposure assessment (log Koc = 2.63 ; PCKOCWIN v1.66 which was the old version of PCKOCWIN)
