Description of key information

Maternal effects of equivocal relevance have been reported after inhalation exposure of rats, but exposure conditions and effects are insufficiently reported.

Additional information

A developmental toxicity study in rats was performed by Krotov and Chetobar (1972). Maternal effects of this inhalation study were not stated, but effects from former examinations at "similar exposure concentrations" were reported to be altered activity of cholinesterase, altered chronaxy, blood proteins and histomorphology (no further details).

This information was regarded to be not reliable (RL3) and no definite conclusions can be drawn.

Justification for classification or non-classification

There is no reliable information with respect to repeated dose toxicity for oral, dermal and inhalation exposure.
