The partition coefficient of ETU (imidazolizine-2-thione) was evaluated in a study performed in accordance with OECD testing guideline 107 and GLP requirements. The partition coefficient of ETU was of -0.67.

The partition coefficient of imidazolidine-2-thione was of -0.67. Nevertheless this result has to be taken with caution because no sufficient information is given in order to challenge the validity of the study.

The partition coefficient of ETU was also evaluated in a study performed with no testing guideline. The partition coefficient of ETU was of -0.66 at ambient temperature.

These two results corroborate the fact that it can be considered that ETU is characterized by a low potential for bioaccumulation and adsorption.
