Sublethal observations / clinical signs:

Due to the observed mortality rate it was not possible to conduct a probit analysis. Therefore, the experimentally determined range of the LC50 was given,

Conclusions:
In the present study concentrations of 0 mg/L, 10 mg/L, 18 mg/L and 25 mg/L of 4-nitro-m-xylene were tested. At 18 mg/L and 25 mg/L symptoms and mortality were observed. In the 10 mg/L group no mortality, but severe symptoms were found.
