DCDPS is moderately degraded by indirect photolysis in the troposphere.

Additional information

DCDPS is subject to hydroxylation by OH radicals in the troposphere. The calculated half-life in air (DT50, air= 27.3 d) is derived from the specific degradation rate constant (kdeg, air), which was calculated on the bases the atmospheric OH rate constant estimated by QSPR (Meylan & Howard 1993).

Direct photolysis is not likely due to the structure of DCDPS.
