Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) and UN Globally Harmonised System (GHS) criteria:

- the substance did not ignite in the preliminary test of the EC method A.10 (equivalent to the UN N1 test), therefore it is NOT considered as a flammable solid;

- the solid gave a negative result in the UN N4 test, therefore it is NOT considered as a self-heating substance;

- the measured flash point is above the threshold values of 60°C and 93°C respectively, therefore the 70% solution is NOT considered as a flammable liquid.
