Conclusion on classification

Based on the modelled acute aquatic toxicity endpoints, the substance is not acutely toxic. Although the substance is not readily biodegradable, it is a gas with a high vapour pressure, is not acutely toxic at concentrations below its water solubility, and has a log Kow <3.0. Therefore, according to the EU Directive 67/548/EEC and EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, the substance is not classified for acute and chronic aquatic toxicity. The test substance is not listed in the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. It does not contain reactive halogens (chlorine or bromine) that could play a role in ozone depletion.
