Additional information

The 24 hour LC50 of Acetamid was determined in an acute Daphnia immobilization test similar to OECD Guideline 202 by G. Bringmann et al. 24 hour old animals from a clone of Daphnia magna were exposed to the test item in tap water. The LC 50 was determined as > 10,000 mg/l.

The potential toxic action of Acetamide measured by the immobilization of Daphnia magna Straus was estimated in another test by G. Bringmann et al. A standardized test strain IRCHA served as test organism. Testing was performed in a chemically and physically defined standardized culture medium. The LC50 of Acetamide was determined as > 10,000 mg/l.
