Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

3,3'-iminodi(propylamine) is classified for germ cell mutagenicity (cat. 2). The available data do not provide a dose response relationship. According to "ECHA Guidance on IR/CSR Chapter R.8" (ECHA-2010-G-19-EN, Nov. 2012), when no threshold can be derived, a qualitative approach to assessing and controlling the risks is necessary. Based on the substance's classification it is allocated to the high hazard band and appropriate Risk Management Measures and Operational Conditions are used (acc. to ECHA Guidance on IR/CSR Part E, Nov. 2012). 3,3'-iminodi(propylamine) is exclusively used in industrial settings. Procedural and control technologies are used to minimise residual emissions/exposure as well as qualitative risk considerations: operational and technical conditions and measures affecting and controlling workers exposure, such as local exhaust ventilation as well as personal protective equipment, such as goggles, chemically resistant gloves, and respiratory protection where potential exposure may occur.

Furthermore, based on existing data a quantitative risk assessment related to potential exposure of the general population via secondary poisoning is not triggered.
