Additional information

The aquatic toxicity of the submission item to algae was determined in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 201. The resulting ECr50 (72h) was 34 mg/L. Furthermore, a QSAR calculation using the OECD Toolbox v3.0.0.274 alpha revealed an estimated EC50 value of 14 mg/L on green algae (BASF SE, 2013). This value is in a connatural magnitude as the result of a second QSAR calculation using ECOSAR v1.00 which revealed a EC50 value of 2.028 mg/L (BASF SE 2012). Based on these values, the test substance is considered to be acutely toxic to aquatic algae.
