Additional information

The substance has been shown to possess a 96-hour LC50 in freshwater fish > 0.306 mg/L ( geom. mean of measured concentration) Limit test, a 48-hour EC50 in daphnia magna > 0.141 mg/L ( geom. mean of measured concentration) Limit test and

a 72-hour EC50 in algae > 0.0129 mg/L ( geom. mean of measured concentration) Limit test.

Long -term aquatic toxicity testing is not proposed by the registrant as the substance is not classified as hazardous for the environment based on Acute toxicological data and BCF factor <<500.

In addition the result of the environmental assessment showed that the PECs ( Predicted Exposure Concentrations) are very low and the RCRs ( Risk Characterization Ratios) <1 therefore the use of the substance can be considered safe for the aquatic compartment.
