Description of key information

Three particle size distribution studies were conducted on tetrabromobisphenol A using samples provided by three different companies. All were considered reliable enough to be key studies. The results were as follows:
Particle size distribution (Granulometry).001: MMAD 43.15 µm; ca. 10% of the sample had a particle size of less than 15 µm
Particle size distribution (Granulometry).002: MMAD 31.81 µm; ca. 12% of the sample had a particle size of less than 15 µm
Particle size distribution (Granulometry).003: MMAD 52.20 µm; ca. 4% of the sample had a particle size of less than 15 µm

Additional information

Mass Median Aerodynamic Diameter (MMAD) = ca. 42 µm. TBBPA is potentially inhalable, but not respirable.
